Apple M3 Pro chip expected features
The Apple M3 Pro chip is said to be available in the next-generation 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models to be released in 2024. It will be a processor that goes through TSMC’s 3nm manufacturing process. The M2 Pro chip in the 14-inch MacBook Pro has a 10-core CPU, a 16-core GPU. That’s why the M3 Pro chip will have at least two extra cores for the CPU and GPU. Since the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros were introduced in January, it seems unlikely that new models updated with the M3 Pro will arrive before 2024.
Apple is expected to launch the M3 chip before introducing the M3 Pro and M3 Max processors. The first iMac, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models with the M3 chip are expected to be released by the end of this year, most likely early next year. In the meantime, perhaps at the WWDC23 event this summer, the 15-inch MacBook Air model with the M2 chip is expected to appear.
