A new feature has come to the Android version of Google’s Chrome browser. Users can now add fingerprint protection to Chrome tabs they open privately. This new feature, which appeared in the stable version of Chrome 105, does not come actively. To activate the feature, it is necessary to make changes deep in the Settings section.
Users who want to add more protection to private browsing pages should first open their Chrome browser and enter the following address in the address bar and activate the relevant option:
chrome://flags/#incognito-reauthentication-for-android
When you restart Chrome after enabling the new feature, you will see a new option “Lock Incognito tabs when you leave Chrome”. When you leave Chrome and come back after opening pages in private, you will see the “unlock Incognito” box on the screen when you want to enter these tabs again. In order to open these tabs, Chrome will ask you to scan your fingerprint.
