The Valencell measuring device, which came to the CES 2023 fair, is very similar to the oximeter finger measuring devices. The device has heart rate sensors, but these sensors collect more data and pass it through an algorithm. It measures blood pressure values by comparing it to a database created by the initiative’s data collected from 7000 patients. It is stated that both diastolic and systolic results are presented with high accuracy.
Valencell can present the results both on its own screen and from the mobile application. Valencell, which is still in the approval process at the US Drug Administration, could revolutionize healthcare if it gets approval, as the initiative also develops measurement sensors for smart watches.
