The Ukrainian government has made a new request to provide certain financial information in the local crypto industry.
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) had requested four local crypto companies (Kuna, CoinPay, GEO Pay and Qmall) to provide financial statements for the first two quarters of 2023. Michael Chobanyan, founder of crypto exchange Kuna, shared the news about the latest request from the NBU, citing a document released by “Politics of country” on July 3.

According to documents requested by the Ukrainian government, the NBU has asked crypto companies to provide information on their operating volumes as well as the purchase and transfer of funds. In addition, the NBU stated that Ukrainian crypto companies will issue disclosures for all accounts from the beginning of 2023. Later, Kuna CEO Chobanyan confirmed the news on his Telegram channel.
