WhatsApp, the world’s most popular instant messaging application with billions of users, continues to be equipped with new features. Finally, a very important innovation future for users has emerged. This innovation is email verification. Here are the details!
It becomes possible to login to WhatsApp via e-mail!
As it is known, the only method that can be used when trying to log in to WhatsApp is to verify with a phone number. However, this means that when the user cannot reach their phone, they cannot access the verification code. That’s why it can be tedious at times. However, this situation is changing.
The WABetaInfo team revealed that they are working on the email verification feature in the latest beta (Android 2.23.16.15) update released for WhatsApp. According to what has been transferred, users will now be able to log in to their accounts with the verification code sent to their e-mail address, aside from their phone number, with this option. This will also apply when trying to log in from another device.
It will also become easier to back up chats, thanks to the option to verify by email according to the shared information. On the other hand, it comes to mind “Will it be possible to create a WhatsApp account with an e-mail address?” The question may have come. The answer to this unfortunately remains unclear for now.
For now, there are no more details on what can be done on WhatsApp apart from what we just mentioned, thanks to the email verification option. It is also unknown when it will be available to users. In this context, it looks like we’ll have to wait a little longer.
In addition to all these, WhatsApp is also working to increase the security of users. In this context, the application will soon offer an option to hide IP. This will ensure a secure processing of IP addresses on WhatsApp servers while users are searching.
