Stranger Things also had its share of the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes initiated by many actors and screenwriters on the Hollywood side. The shooting of the fifth season of the series was postponed due to the strike that started in May. In fact, fans of the series began to worry about whether the fifth season would come.

However, this strike ended with the temporary agreement made last month and the official agreement announced on Wednesday. Thus, the idea of starting shooting for the next season of Stranger Things was born.

Allegedly, the fifth season, which will be the final season of the series, will start shooting on January 5 or 8.

The strikes, which started on May 2, were close to the start of the shooting of the series, so many preparations had to be postponed. However, it is also claimed that the broadcaster of the series will return to its old tempo as soon as 2024 and that the shooting will be done in Atlanta. It is also said that the series team is currently in Atlanta.

In fact, the script for the fifth season was ready, but the Duffer Brothers postponed the series instead of shooting it without the production team and actors. Due to the impact of the subsequent strike, the shooting was postponed to a later date.

The series was among the first productions affected by the strike.

The fact that the shooting of productions such as Andor and House of the Dragon would continue at that time attracted attention. Because Stranger Things was one of the series whose shootings were postponed. However, Matt and Ross Duffer wanted to stand by the writers, but the strike did not allow them to continue shooting the series.

Although the script is ready and shooting will start in January, it is thought that the series will be published in 2025. The entire cast we saw in previous seasons will appear before the audience in the final season.
