A spokesperson for the company stated that the service will start from October 28.

The company used the following statements in an e-mail sent to institutions:

“Investors will be able to buy, sell and transfer ether with access to the operational excellence, security and dedicated customer service model provided for their Bitcoin investments”

Fidelity Digital Assets is a subsidiary of financial services company Fidelity Investments. The company first launched in 2018 with Bitcoin trading and custody offerings.

Fidelity Investments and its subsidiary have released a number of new crypto-related announcements in recent weeks.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Fidelity Investments is looking to launch Bitcoin trading services for its retail clients.

The company recently teamed up with Charles Schwab and Citadel Securities to launch a digital asset exchange called EDX Markets.

Fidelity Investments announced that it will launch a new Ethereum Index Fund in its filing with the SEC on September 26.
