We don’t mind saying that GTs are the cars you would prefer to get you to the point you want to go in the most comfortable and trouble-free way. Two of the few existing examples of cars of this type are the Ferrari GTC4Lusso and the Bentley Continental. We’re talking about a convertible Bentley.
Considering that the manufacturers of the cars are Ferrari and Bentley, the giant names of the industry, we do not even need to mention that both vehicles are extremely fast. But what if these two ‘machines’ were to do a drag race? Let’s look at the answer to this question together.
Ferrari GTC4Lusso vs Bentley Continental GT
In the drag race video shared by Carwow, Ferrari dominates Bentley as soon as it hits the track. GTC4Lusso, which is essentially a ‘practical’ Ferrari, is powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine that produces 700 Nm of torque and 691 horsepower. As such, Bentley, which has a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 producing 770 Nm of torque and 548 horsepower compared to the Ferrari GTC4Lusso, remains a child’s play, so to speak.
It may be true that the Bentley Continental GT has more traction; however, Ferrari’s much lighter body has much less difficulty in pulling compared to Bentley’s, giving Ferrari an edge over Bentley on the track.
With a weight advantage of approximately 415 kilograms, Ferrari actually crushes Bentley, not surprisingly. However, in the video, we cannot predict exactly how the outcome of the race would have changed if the rival of the GTC4Lusso had been the W12-engined Continental.
