Nintendo Switch, which was launched as a lifeline to the dying handheld console market in 2017, is one of the best-selling game consoles in history as of 2023. Over time, competitor models such as the Steam Deck (considering the concept and target audience rather than the hardware) were also released to this console. According to the latest information, a competitor named Lenovo Legion Go will soon come to such names.
Lenovo Legion Go features revealed
If we look at the leaked images of Lenovo Go, we can say that it shows a similarity to the Nintendo Switch OLED. It resembles Nintendo’s console with its support leg on its back case, and it directly brings to mind the Switch’s Joy-Cons, especially with its detachable controllers.
The console’s key layout consists of two analog sticks, a D-Pad, four buttons (A, B, X and Y) and a touchpad. In addition, there will be a mouse wheel behind the right controller. Considering that the model will run the Windows 11 operating system, we can say that it was a logical move as it would make navigation extremely easy.
The fact that the controllers are removable brings to mind the thought that the product most likely has a touch panel. It is also expected to have a screen size of 8 inches. Finally, it is expected to be powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 series chip. According to rumors, it will appear in front of users with the Ryzen Z1 Extreme. As it will be remembered, Ryzen Z1 was also used in ASUS ROG Ally.
