Tipster Kacper said that the Redmi K60 series will consist of at least three different devices, namely the K60, K60 Pro and K60E. He also announced the codenames of these devices in his tipster post: Redmi K60’s codename is socrates, K60 Pro’s codename is mondrian, and K60E’s codename is rembrandt.

Sharing the code names of the devices in the Redmi K60 series, the tipster also revealed from which processors the devices can be powered, as well as these code names. According to the share, the K60 will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the Pro model will be powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. In the tipster post about the inconsistency here, “Don’t ask why this is so.” said. Also, the Redmi K60E will use a MediaTek chipset. However, it is not yet clear which SoC it will be.
The Redmi K60 is expected to be the most affordable device in the upcoming K series lineup. The device, which is expected to come with a 6.67-inch screen with 2K resolution, may have a 5,500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. The device, which is predicted to come with up to 12 GB of RAM options, is said to have a 64MP main camera sensor with OIS in terms of optics. This main camera will be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro sensor. There will also be a 16MP selfie camera on the front of the phone for selfies.
