Nothing emerged as a brand in 2020, but it made its debut in earnest with the release of the Phone (1) last year.
And recently, the company confirmed that it is working on a sequel model that will be higher-end in terms of software and hardware. A new leak offers information about the device’s features, launch date plans and a few other details.
According to sources close to mysmartprice, the Phone (2) with model number A065 is set to launch in the second half of this year. Sources say it will have a Snapdragon 8 Series chipset, but it remains unclear which processor will power the phone. It is rumored to use an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, but once again, the size and resolution of the screen are unknown.
Phone (2), like the previous model, will offer 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. While not verified by sources, it can be predicted that it will likely have more versions with lower memory and storage. The Phone (2) is also expected to support virtual RAM, which can boost your phone’s performance when you run a lot of resource-intensive tasks.
The Phone (2) will be an exciting release for the company as it will not only be the brand’s first high-end offering, but will also be available to people in the United States. The Phone (2) is expected to launch worldwide in the third quarter of 2023, but we’ll likely know details about Nothing’s new phone long before an official announcement.
