It will be possible to mute or mark as read multiple chats in the web version and desktop app
The new feature that WhatsApp is working on aims to facilitate chat management on desktop and web version. The platform will do this with a button that lets you select multiple chats. In the screenshots, it can be seen that the ‘Select Chat’ button has been added to the section above the chats and the search bar.
This button will enable web and desktop application users to realize what they have long been waiting for. In this way, users will be able to select multiple chats and set these chats as ‘read’ or ‘unread’. It will also be possible to mute multiple conversations with this option.
There is no information yet on when the new feature, which is currently under development, will be available.
