Farming Simulator 22 hosted almost twice as many players as Battlefield 2042:
Published three days ago, Farming Simulator 2022 managed to surpass Battlefield 2042, one of the most anticipated productions this year, in the number of instant players. Farming Simulator 22, which is very similar to the previous games in the series in general, but offers a few more innovations in this year’s game, almost doubled the difference in the number of instant players.
According to the instant player numbers published by Steam, Farming Simulator 22 was played by tens of thousands of players on Sunday and hosted a maximum of 94,744 players that day. On the other hand, on the same day, the number of instant players of Battlefield 2042 had seen a maximum of 52 thousand 524. Farming Simulator 22 also managed to be at the top of Steam’s bestseller list.
While Farming Simulator 22 surpassed Battlefield 2042 and many other games, it also became a record-breaking game in the series. The previous record for instant player count belonged to Farming Simulator 19 with 59 thousand players. Farming Simulator 22 updated this number to 105 thousand.
