Phantom-based synthetic asset protocol Fantasm Finance has been hacked. In the attack, in which $ 2.6 million was stolen, the funds in question were converted into ETH through Tornado Cash. In the statement made on Fantasm’s Twitter account, the following statements were used:

“Our FTM collateral reserve was stolen, there is currently 1,820.012 FTM pool balance left for redemption.”

The attackers primarily raided XFTM using a small amount of FSM tokens. Then, as reported by Nipun Pitimanaaree, Chief Engineer of Alpha Finance, the event that started with 50 FTM at the beginning gradually grew to 2.6 million XFTM.
