David Gokhshtein, a former US congressional candidate, got involved in an ongoing discussion on Twitter about meme coins. The crypto phenomenon emphasizes that the 3 altcoin projects, which are at the center of the criticism, have made many people rich.

David Gokhshtein tweeted that many people on Twitter are “rich” thanks to cryptocurrencies. The famous politician has supported many meme coins since last year, including the crashed Terra Classic (LUNC). Gokhshtein is known to hold large amounts of Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB). He has also included Floki Inu (FLOKI) in his tweets many times.
In his most recent tweet, Gokhshtein addressed meme coin critics, “A ton of people here got rich thanks to meme coins. Do you think they’ll care if you make fun of them?” made statements. Discussions continued throughout the day, and Gokhshtein’s response to comments such as “I can make them care if I make fun of them” was “it’s time for you to go to bed”.

In another recent tweet, Gokhshtein reminded critics of meme coins that on Twitter people are free to talk about whatever they want. “If I want to get into SHIB or FLOKI – it’s up to me,” the entrepreneur wrote.

Gokhshtein gives weight to Shiba Inu: “epic stuff”
At the end of February, Gokhshtein wrote on Twitter that he had gathered enough Shiba Inu and now expects “epic gains” from his investments. The famous politician is talking about the imminent release of Shibarium beta, the Tier 2 solution that has probably been under development for over a year. The dev team announced that the Shibarium beta launch will take place “very soon” in mid-January. Since then, the lead developer of Shibarium, known by the alias Shytoshi Kusama, has started publishing a series of Medium posts about Shibarium.
His latest tweet included a song recommendation that could be listened to until now, stating that it will be released very soon.

As altcoin investors focus on Shibarium, whales continue to collect
WhaleStats found that a total of 200,899,251,805 Shiba Inu had been purchased. The whale, which made a heavy purchase, paid $2,240,026 at the SHIB/USD exchange rate at the time of purchase.

Interestingly, this purchase appears to have been made for purely speculative purposes. At the time of writing, only a small piece of Shiba Inu remained in the whale’s wallet. A look at the SHIB/USDT chart on Binance shows that it has lost over 10% since March 1. On March 3 last week, the Shiba Inu dropped 7% in a single hour and recorded a large red candle.
