Cryptocurrency market has made its investors smile a lot lately. Bitcoin managed to break the all-time record by seeing $ 67 thousand the other day. After Bitcoin, Ethereum stepped in today and broke the 4,300 threshold and set a new all-time high.
While Bitcoin continues to increase in this way, a new statement for Turkey came from Michael Saylor, the founder of MicroStrategy, one of the biggest institutional supporters of Bitcoin. Saylor, who previously explained why Bitcoin is important with the example of Turkey, made a direct suggestion to Turkey this time.
“Bitcoin is a hope for Turkey”
Michael Saylor responded to the post of cryptocurrency analyst Jan Wuestenfeld about the Turkish Lira in his post on his Twitter account. Jan Wuestenfeld included the annual chart of the Turkish Lira and the dollar parity in his share and showed that the TL depreciated by 15.18% against the dollar in the past year alone. Considering a period of several years, the picture was even worse. The lira has lost 80% of its value against the dollar since 2013.
