“participatory entertainment platform” Fireside, co-founded by billionaire investor Mark Cuban, has recently partnered with Ethereum-based blockchain network SKALE, which has launched a $100 million ecosystem fund, to help the next generation of creators transition to Web3. Following this development, the web3 coin project SKL rose 30 percent. Here are the details…

Web3 coin partnership established with Mark Cuban’s platform

Fireside is a “participatory entertainment platform” founded by Mark Cuban and Falon Fatemi. The app partners with Ethereum-based blockchain network SKALE on $100 million in creative funding. Content creators can produce shows where NFT owners can participate in the show and behind the scenes. According to the company, grants from the fund will be provided “in both liquid and locked forms in a single currency or mixed currency, depending on the objectives and nature of the grant.” Grants include, but are not limited to, SKALE tokens, Ethereum, USDC, Bitcoin, and fiat currency (i.e. US dollars or euros).

Fireside already has many high-profile names in its pool of 2,000 creators, including Jay Leno, Melissa Rivers, and Craig Kilborn. Working with Angry Lunch, the production company of “Entourage” creator Doug Ellin, he created the series “Ramble On,” starring Charlie Sheen, Kevin Connolly, and Kevin Dillon. The companies said they can help creators “build a network and then have their fans not only be part of the content creation process” but be behind the scenes and be a part of helping them gain early access to content and ultimately evolve.

SKL price jumped by 30 percent

Following this development, the SKL token of the Skale network experienced an increase of over 30 percent. The cryptocurrency rallied from $0.06078 to $0.0921. At the time of writing, it is trading at $0.0894, up 23 percent. As Kriptokoin.com have previously reported, SKALE is defined as an elastic network designed to bring scalability to Ethereum. It focuses specifically on transaction fees and speed.
