Famous actor Tom Hanks has managed to bring one of his passions to life by creating a quiz game with the help of developer BlueLine Studios. This will not only be Hanks’ first game, but also the first quiz game on Apple Arcade.
Hanx101 Trivia has questions in different categories, including history, math, geography and food. When the game releases for Apple Arcade on Friday, you can try to beat your high score or face off against other players in head-to-head and team matches.
This isn’t the first time Hanks has worked on an app for Apple devices, either. In 2014, he released Hanx Writer, a typewriter-themed writing app that became a hit on the iPad. Hanks’ company also has an exclusive deal with Apple. Hanks’ Greyhound and Finch movies are only shown on Apple TV.
A few more games are coming to Apple Arcade in September. One of them is Gris, an updated version of the amazing indie hit. Apple named it the best Mac game of the year at the 2019 App Store awards and described it as “a masterpiece in atmospheric storytelling and visualization”. Apple Arcade subscribers will be able to play both games at no additional cost starting September 30.
