Family Link updated
While Family Link offered parents a lot of control, having all the content on one page made it difficult to navigate. In the new design, 3 tabs are placed at the bottom. From here, usage summaries, controls, and location data can be accessed.
Another convenience is the Today Only feature. This feature can set a limit for a single day and does not affect the general limit settings. Normally, it was necessary to provide flexibility for that day by entering the general limitation settings.
In addition to determining screen time for each device, parents will now be able to receive alerts when the child logs into a certain location. The notification menu will also show the requests made by the child and the parent’s blocking.
Finally, Family Link is now available on the web. As with Microsoft parental control, parents will be able to access from a single device for different platforms. Finally, parent-controlled suggestion lists will now be available on Google TV child profiles, and the parent will be able to keep the suggestions if they want.
