The American writer, born in 1922, had his name engraved in the cameos of all the films mentioned in golden letters. Now, after a long break, it has been announced that Stan Lee will take part in Marvel Studios productions again. After the tragic loss of Carrie Fisher, who previously played the character of Leia Organa in Star Wars movies, LucasFilm and Disney used previous footage to have Fisher appear in another movie. It seems that Marvel is considering using the same technique for Stan Lee this time.

According to recent news, Marvel Studios has decided to use Stan Lee’s footage as part of an initiative between Genius Brands International and POW. He signed a 20-year deal. In the long-term deal, alongside Disney-affiliated events, Lee is expected to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Lee can now reappear everywhere from movies to theme parks. In the official statements made on the subject, it was stated that “Stan Lee’s name, voice, likeness and signature, as well as images, current footage and existing sound recordings of Stan can be used in films and television projects.” This will happen digitally so Lee can reappear in new movies and TV shows.
