It is possible to find fakes of many things in our country. Fake things like clothes, food, ID or money can be found in many places. However, a new one has been added to these recently: Diplomas. Some companies have started to sell fake diplomas by reaching people through their websites and social media. Sultan Uçar from Sözcü exposed this dangerous game by trapping some of those companies.
According to the information obtained, companies can print diplomas belonging to all departments of all universities in Turkey, except for Boğaziçi University. Moreover, this process can be completed in just a few days. Citizens pay around 450-500 TL for fake diplomas and they can easily access their fake diplomas.
“Those who trusted us got the job they wanted”
Sultan Uçar states that in one of the companies he talked to, the words “Those who trusted us got the job they wanted” were used and that they had printed thousands of fake diplomas so far. In the meantime, it is stated that the fake diplomas in question were delivered to the citizens after notarization. This made it easier for citizens to believe in these sites. . .
The fake diploma companies have exaggerated the scale of the event. Because on these websites, they even offer customers satisfaction surveys and reference information. In addition, companies competing with each other also organize campaigns for citizens. Thanks to these campaigns, diplomas can be obtained at prices such as 300 TL.
To be frank, the biggest harm that such organizations can do to our country is that company executives skip e-Government verification and accept the diploma. In such a case, a citizen may start working in a department of which he has no knowledge whatsoever.
