Meta announced its app called Tuned about 2 years ago. Like the company’s other platforms, Tuned is based on human interaction. In fact, it was developed as part of Meta’s NPE (new product experimentation) project to understand and observe couples and their relationships.
According to the platform, it was designed to allow couples to share important milestones in their relationships, such as how they were feeling and what they were doing together, but was mainly based on messaging.
It is stated that many of the features we see on the other platform actually appeared here for the first time. For example, thanks to the application’s integration with Spotify, it was possible to go beyond sharing the track or application link on your device.
Similarly, it is possible to share many things, especially photos, notes, videos, voice messages, watch or listen lists. In fact, since it is used by couples, as we mentioned, intimate content can be shared with a password or blur filter.
In addition, it allows couples to stay in constant contact with features such as check-in or mood status. You can also save your posts digitally, then take notes on them and share them wherever you want.
However, Meta would not be very satisfied with the return of this application, which was downloaded close to 1 million times, and said that Tuned will be closed on September 19. It is stated that this is a good experiment, but now it is time to end. If you have any photo, audio and document-like files in the application, you need to download them to your device by this date. Otherwise, it can be deleted.
