On the other hand, it has been reported that the umbrella company Meta gives priority to Reels, that is, the short-form video format, which is currently available on Instagram and Facebook, more than its other projects.

In a statement on the subject, a Meta spokesperson said that the audio-focused features developed as a competitor to Clubhouse interact well and sound is an important tool for self-expression. Stating that they have not completely given up on the podcast business, the spokesperson added that they consider the ideas of the content producers while developing new features.
