Operating under the umbrella of Meta, Facebook is still one of the most popular platforms in the world with its billions of users. For this reason, many innovations are constantly added to the application. Now it turns out that the giant platform will make some changes in the profiles of users.
According to the news of Matt Navarra and media giant Business Insider, who is known for his shares about social media applications, Facebook will no longer want users to share some personal information on their profiles. This means that the information we were able to see before will no longer appear in the accounts.

According to the information received, the US-based platform has decided to remove the ‘Religious Opinion’ section on users’ profiles, as well as the ‘I am interested’ section, which is used to indicate sexual orientations from the platform.
Speaking to Business Insider, a company spokesperson also confirmed this development. Apart from these two sections, it was stated that the ‘Political Opinion’ and ‘Address’ sections will no longer appear on Facebook profiles, and other personal information will remain.
