Facebook has decided to change some of its policies after falling profit figures recently. The company, which closed unpopular applications, now focuses more on its core services. The popular social media app is updating its Stream section for this purpose.
Facebook Stream will now be what the user wants
With the update, users will now be able to choose how many posts they see on Stream, from friends, groups or pages. In this way, Facebook states that they will act according to the feedback of users and that they will develop their artificial intelligence.
Until now, Facebook only allowed you to hide posts from people you follow or suggested. With the update, users will be able to choose between “show more” or “show less” for the posts they come across. In this way, the posts you come across will change, and Facebook’s artificial intelligence will develop and bring more relevant posts to the Stream.
This setting will appear at certain intervals for the first time in posts appearing on the Homepage. Afterwards, you will be able to make the necessary settings by clicking on the ‘three dots’ in the upper right corner of the post for all shares.
Facebook also creates a new set of options to customize the number of posts shared by friends and family. ‘Normal’, ‘Show less’ and ‘Show more’ options will be available to users, which will also apply to groups, pages and public figures.
Recently, Facebook users were encountering many posts they did not want to see. Facebook seems to solve one of the most common problems users complain about with the updates.
