It is stated that Facebook users are shifting to Instagram and WhatsApp a little more. Reels in particular was the fastest growing family service. When meta family applications are taken into account, daily active users grew 8 percent with 2.82 billion, and monthly active users grew by 9 percent with 3.59 billion.
While the firm’s total revenue increased 20 percent to $33.6 billion, net profit fell 8 percent to $10.2 billion. Virtual reality work, which is also a reference to the name Meta, did not attract attention and lost 10 billion dollars to the company throughout the year. It is stated that this segment made a loss of $3.3 billion in the quarter. Facebook shares fell 22 percent with the announcement.
