Meta’s efforts to enrich TikTok-style vertical videos continue. So much so that the social media platform allowed series, movies or programs with Facebook Watch, which was introduced in 2017. Meta has greatly expanded its video support with the update to Facebook. As part of the new update, the video tab, previously known as Facebook Watch, has now changed to “Video” and has become the hub for all video content on Facebook. Thus, users can easily access Reels, long and live videos through a single tab.
Note that the new Video tab and editing options are already available on Facebook’s Android and iOS apps. It looks like Meta will continue to focus on video content across social media platforms as the Threads app gains popularity. So what do you guys think about this?
