Binance made important announcements for 3 altcoins
Binance, Lisk (LSK) completed the network upgrade and hard fork. Deposits and withdrawals for LSK are now open. LSK deposits will require 150 block confirmations before being credited to user accounts. User will receive 1 more block confirmation before it is credited to their account.
Binance supports Elrond (EGLD) network upgrade. The Elrond (EGLD) network upgrade will take place on March 4 at 14:55 (UTC). Deposits and withdrawals of EGLD will be suspended from approximately March 4 at 13:55 (UTC). The exchange warns:
- EGLD transactions will not be affected during the network upgrade.
- Elrond (EGLD) network upgrade will occur at approximately 2022-03-04 14:55 (UTC). The estimated time is for users’ reference only.
- Binance will undertake all relevant technical requirements for all users holding EGLD in their Binance account.
- Once we consider the upgraded network stable, we will restart deposits and withdrawals for EGLD and will not notify users at further notice.
Binance announced that its 28th Binance Launchpad project will be STEPN (GMT). The token sale for STEPN will follow the launchpad subscription format with registration of user BNB balances starting at 2022-03-02 00:00 AM (UTC). Binance will record user BNB balances for 7 days from 2022-03-02 00:00 AM (UTC) to 2022-03-09 00:00 AM (UTC). The final BNB holding amount for each user will be determined as an average of 7 days using the Average Daily BNB Balance calculation previously announced here. GMT token sale details:
- Launchpad hard cap: $4,200,000
- Hard cap per user: $15,000 (1,500,000 GMT)
- Total supply: 6,000,000,000 GMT
- Tokens allocated to Binance Launchpad: 420,000,000 GMT (7% of total supply)
- Public token sale price: 1 GMT = 0.01 USD (price in BNB , to be determined before subscription)
