Looking at the past models, the Galaxy S21 FE is also expected to come with both Snapdragon and Exynos variants. An earlier leak had confirmed the existence of the Snapdragon chip. Now, a Galaxy S21 FE variant running Exynos has appeared in the Geekbench database, and we can say that it has now been confirmed that not all versions of the smartphone will be produced the same.

Famous leaker FrontTron announced that it saw the Galaxy S21 FE on the test platform, where it managed to score 1,096 points with a single core and 3,387 points with a multi-core. While these numbers may seem a bit low for the Exynos 2100, it’s worth noting that the device in question runs pre-production software, so the chipset may not work at its full potential.

Despite its seemingly low Geekbench score, we can see that this Galaxy S21 FE version has 8GB of RAM and carries the model number SM-G990E.

It will be interesting to see the distribution of the SoC of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE by market. Usually US and China offer Snapdragon version and other regions get Exynos version; however, according to a new report, the situation may be very different this year. Also, the performance difference between the Exynos 2100 and Snapdragon 888 is not as big as the previous generations, so we can say that both models will be good.
