The Eyxnos 2200 chipset, implemented by Samsung in partnership with AMD and with great investments, was expected to make a big impact, but this did not happen. It is stated that Samsung, which also canceled a special event, is disappointed.
How is the Exynos 2200 performance?
Exynos 2200 chipset, which has the latest generation core architectures such as Cortex-X2 and Cortex-A710, was very curious with its RDNA 2 graphics. There were claims that it even surpassed the Apple A15 and that it would now be used as a single chip in all Samsung devices.
Unfortunately Exynos 2200 is not at the expected level yet. According to the Exynos 2100 chipset, it is stated that there is an increase of 5 percent on the processor side and 17 percent on the graphics side. Considering that it also targets the laptop world, these figures are not very encouraging.
It is also stated that Samsung has slightly lowered the clock frequencies compared to the previous generation due to heating concerns. Artificial intelligence performance, on the other hand, increased by 115%.
Clear details have not been given by Samsung yet and it is not known why this huge investment has been pushed into the background. Software-side optimizations will undoubtedly come, but Samsung isn’t sure about its new project yet.
