Samsung’s first chipset in this direction will be the Exynos 1280, which has decided to use more Exynos processors in its low-end smartphones. Exynos 1280, which will offer better 5G support to mid-range phones, took its place in the company’s database.
What does the Exynos 1280 offer?
Exynos 1280 chipset in the 5nm process has 2 Cortex-A78 and 6 Cortex-A55 cores. Next to the Mali-G68 graphics unit, there is an artificial intelligence engine with a neural processor. The integrated modem supports 5G speed transfers up to 2.55Gbps and LTE speed transfers up to 1.2Gbps.

Dual band WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 is located on the connection side, while 108MP in single camera and 32MP in dual camera are supported. Supports 4K 30fps video recording, Full HD 120Hz display, LPDDR4x and UFS 2.2. It is not yet known which phones the Exynos 1280 chipset will find its place on.
