Google, which is in the race with Microsoft’s Bing search engine, is working on a brand new feature. This feature, which was first noticed by MSPowerUser and whose screenshot was shared, will bring major innovations to Google’s desktop home page.

Accordingly, there will now be a “Discover” flow on the home page of the search engine. A Google spokesperson confirmed to The Verge that it is testing the feature in India, but did not say when it would be rolled out widely.

Many things will be displayed on Google’s homepage, such as weather, news, match scores, etc.

When we look at the screenshot, we see that Google will present more than one information to users at the bottom of the search section of the discover flow. These include things like weather, match scores, share prices and news.

This kind of feature was tested in the search engine last year. However, in the feature seen at that time, information was presented mostly through widget-like cards, unlike the interface that emerged now.

We can say that the change is important. Because Google.com is still the most visited website in the world. It will be a useful feature for users as it provides users with information on different subjects. Of course, Google also has an iconic simplicity. If the interface really changes, it may be a little difficult to get used to it.

It would also not be wrong to guess that the new flow could be a move to get ahead of Bing. Bing already had an interface containing information on different topics like this.
