Google recently stated that premium subscribers will have access to more than 80 million songs and thousands of playlists in the app. The app will also feature Google’s Smart Download feature, which automatically refreshes songs downloaded to your Wear OS watch every time it’s connected to Wi-Fi.
With its new update, Google will allow users to access YouTube playlists over LTE or WiFi without a smartphone nearby. However, users need to have an LTE plan through their wireless provider for cellular connectivity. It should be noted that this feature is not supported on Apple iOS.
Google also said that Wear OS users can add a YouTube Music extension to their watch that will allow them to access recently played music or the app’s browse page. In this way, users will be able to access YouTube Music much more easily.
