Popular messaging application WhatsApp announced on Twitter that new privacy features offered for Beta users last April were opened to all users.
What does Whatsapp’s new feature offer?
As it is known, Whatsapp nowadays only allows the Profile Photo, About, Status and Last Seen settings to be set to Everyone, My Contacts or Nobody. The new update, which will give users much more detailed control in this regard, will now allow privacy settings to be made exclusively for single or specific users .
In addition, the ‘ My Contacts Except… ‘ option added under the Last Seen, Profile Photo, About Me and Status tabs in the Account / Privacy settings of the application will speed up users’ individual settings.
Whatsapp, which decided to limit users who did not accept the new privacy policy last year, but received a great reaction because of this decision, will apparently continue to listen to users. The company, which brought a new feature that makes the transition from Android to iOS easier at the beginning of this week, has now offered new privacy options to users.
