While the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues today, especially with Doctor Strange, the foundations were laid with Eternals for the re-expansion of the universe. But that didn’t mean Marvel would ignore the recently concluded Avengers franchise in the future. Here is an important statement that will give Marvel an option in this regard today.
Josh Brolin, who plays Thanos, the villain of the Avengers series, gave a message to Marvel in a statement he made on the Jess Cagle Show on SiriusXM. Brolin stated that he would agree to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Thanos ‘if they want’. Brolin’s statement that immediately started new theories in mind was as follows:
“If they want me to come back, I’ll come back”
“I don’t know where they’re going. It’s not because I’m not interested. They have their own trajectory to worry about, and if they want me to come back as Thanos, I will, but I don’t know what they’re thinking.”
Today, there is no concrete theory or plan about whether Marvel will bring Thanos back. As Marvel is currently moving towards incorporating Kang the Conqueror into the MCU, flashbacks seem to be the only conceivable thing about Thanos. Considering the current situation, it is said that Thanos’s return is a bit difficult, but it should not be forgotten that there may be many variations of Thanos in the MCU’s Phase 4.
