Different details about the Google Pixel Watch smart watch are emerging every day. We can say that the device, which first appeared in 2018 and then appeared only at the level of gossip, is now coming. Because, according to the latest shared leak, a few key details of the smart watch have been revealed.
The information that emerged among the codes of the new Wear OS update brought new claims about the design of the device and the processor it will use. Google can surprise everyone, especially with its processor selection.
Exynos move for Google Pixel Watch
The smart watch, whose marketing images were shared in the past days, also managed to make the claims serious. However, while wondering about the moves that Google will make, the expected development appeared in the new Wear OS 3 update. Some small notes were found in the company’s new release package. The most striking of these notes was the phrase “PIXEL_EXPERIENCE_WATCH”. Because, according to some sources, both the existence of the device and its name have been definitively confirmed.
Pixel name and features aside, Wear OS 3 will get the latest Google Assistant update that will be able to understand voice queries and perform tasks while offline. This capability is currently reserved for select Pixel smartphones only. Emerging developments also show that Google continues to work hard to create its own ecosystem.
In addition, in the shared leak-focused report, the processor of the device may have also emerged. Switching to the Tensor processor on its smartphones, Google may not follow this trend in the Pixel Watch model. It has been suggested that the company may prefer the Exynos processor in order to use the latest assistant update more efficiently. While the claims have not been finalized yet, Samsung will again be responsible for the company’s possible Tensor chipset preference.
The Google Pixel Watch is expected to launch in 2022, but there’s no exact time frame for when that might happen. If we had to guess, Google could either wait until its annual MadeByGoogle launch event in October or try to delay the launch of wearables to April instead.
