Xiaomi 12 series, which was introduced to users in December of last year, managed to receive positive feedback from users. The series, which includes Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro models, will soon expand further with the introduction of the Ultra model. However, according to the information that has emerged recently, the only model to be added to the series will not be limited to the Ultra.
Xiaomi 12 Extreme Edition has received L2S certification
Digital Chat Station, which has come to the fore with its leaks in the smartphone industry, has announced that a device with model number 2206122SC has received L2S certification via the Chinese microblogging site Weibo. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, codenamed SM8475, the smartphone will be ahead of the Xiaomi 12 Pro on the technical side.
The chipset with 4 nm architecture is powered by one 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-X2, three 2.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores. In addition, it hosts the Adreno 730 graphics unit. It should be noted that the processor in question is also used in the standard and Pro models of the series.
It is now certain that a new member will be added to the Xiaomi 12 series, with the exception of Ultra. However, it is not clear exactly what name the model will debut with. Because the device is between Pro and Ultra on the technical side, this caused the claims of Xiaomi 12 Extreme Edition and Xiaomi 12S Pro. It is worth noting that the first claim outweighs the source of the leak.
Xiaomi 12 Ultra will debut right after the Redmi K50, which will be presented to users in March. Although the introduction date is not known clearly, it may appear in front of users in April or May.
