In a content we shared with you in the past days, we mentioned that a currency hike is expected in automotive prices. The possible exchange rate hike in prices in the range of 3 to 5 percent would change the SCT segments of the vehicles, and this would be reflected to the consumer as an extra hike of around 60 thousand TL. The expected hike seems to come without waiting for November. Because some brands have announced that they have started to update their price lists.
Renault, which is one of the best-selling automobile brands in Turkey, has closed its price lists as of now. In addition, Dacia, which includes Duster, the best-selling SUV model of September, also closed the price list. It is expected that these two brands will mobilize other automotive companies and price lists will be changed by other brands. If this does not happen these days, we will definitely see the new prices as of November.
Here is the message on Renault’s website
The first model that comes to mind when Renault is mentioned is, of course, the Clio. Clio, one of the company’s best-selling models, was sold with prices starting from 178 thousand TL before this update. As the occupancy of the vehicle increased, the price increased up to 232 thousand TL. New prices will be announced after the update. By the way; Similarly, let us remind you that the starting price of Megane has been 237 thousand TL so far and it can increase up to 425 thousand TL depending on different hardware features.
Dacia also followed Renault’s footsteps
One of the most popular models of Dacia, known as Renault’s sub-brand, is of course the Sandero Stepway. The starting price of the vehicle, which was determined for October, was 203 thousand 900 TL. A consumer who bought the full package of Sandero Stepway had to pay 225 thousand 900 TL. It is already a matter of curiosity what the new price of this small SUV will be.
