EVGA, one of the world’s largest computer component manufacturers, has attracted attention for years as an important name especially in the graphics card market. After years of partnership with Nvidia and producing successful GTX / RTX graphics cards, the company stops producing graphics cards. Allegedly, the biggest reason for EVGA’s withdrawal from the market is that Nvidia is a bad partner.

Because of Nvidia, EVGA suffers from graphics cards
According to information from Gamers Nexus and JayzTwoCents, Nvidia is blamed for EVGA’s withdrawal from the GPU market. EVGA claims that Nvidia has publicly announced the price of cards like the RTX 3080 without giving the firm a firm price for the GPU cores, thereby undermining EVGA’s pricing strategy for graphics cards. Also, according to JayzTwoCents, Nvidia shared the drivers needed for its graphics cards with journalists before sharing it with EVGA.
According to Gamers Nexus, EVGA had to sell its RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 graphics cards at a loss of hundreds of dollars in order to compete with Nvidia’s Founders Edition cards. Speaking to The Verge after the allegations, Nvidia representative Bryan Del Rizzo; He stated that Nvidia and EVGA have had a good partnership over the years and that the company will continue to support existing EVGA cards. EVGA didn’t comment on the Nvidia issue, but on its forum, “EVGA is committed to its customers and will continue to offer sales and support across its current range of products. Also, as EVGA, we would like to thank our community for their support and enthusiasm for our graphics cards for many years.”
EVGA will continue to manufacture computer components
Speaking to Gamers Nexus, the company stated that they will continue to manufacture computer components and will not lay off any employees. However, since the video card sales generate a large income for the company, the possibility of shrinkage of the company seems quite possible. Although the company will withdraw from the graphics card market, it may be possible to return to the graphics card market by making a new agreement with AMD or Intel in the future.
