In this context; Problems related to installment sales, withdrawal from subscription and housing purchases have found their place in the content of the draft law to be prepared. Installments will be rescheduled, commitments may be limited to 12 months
According to the information obtained, a new time setting will be brought to the installments with the arrangement. In addition, improvements will be made in the application of the citizen to default due to unpaid installments. A new era will be started regarding the consumer’s right of withdrawal and the installments. On the other hand; Some incompatibilities in car rental agreements will also be resolved. Subscription agreements will also get their share of this regulation. With the work to be done, practices that are against the consumer in long-term contracts will be ended. According to the allegations, a new limit will be imposed on the commitment periods and no commitments longer than 12 months will be given.
Studies will also be carried out on housing purchases, where consumers often have problems. Notary publics will be more effective in this regard and transactions regarding deed changes will be made at notaries. In addition, the mortgage or lien status of a purchased house will also be seen at the notary public. In addition to all these, there will be regulations for timeshare and timeshare contracts. Contracts will not be shorter than 10 years, and the meaning of “all inclusive” in holidays will be clearly written.
