Samsung, one of the leading manufacturers of the Android front, introduced the highly anticipated Galaxy S25 series on January 22, 2025 and sat on the agenda of the smartphone world. Following this, performance reports began to come as well as in the output process of each new model. The report on the Galaxy S25 battery recently surprised those who saw it.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Battery Test Results
The Youtube channel Android Addicts performed a comprehensive test comparing the battery performance of the Galaxy S24 Ultra model, which was released last year with Samsung’s new Galaxy S25 series. In this test, social media usage (X and Instagram), movie monitoring, waiting mode and games playing, such as daily use scenarios were simulated and the durability of the devices was measured. In addition, the Benchmark test was also performed.

Although smartphones have almost equal scores in benchmark tests, the situation is different in terms of battery times. Before moving on to the test, it is necessary to take a look at the battery capacity of the devices. The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra model has a 5000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S25 4000 MAH, Galaxy S25+ 4900 MAH and Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with 5000 mAh battery.

Masquerade from Samsung: The end of the road is coming for 13 models!
Samsung is counting down for the Android 15 update, and apparently this will be the last major Android update for some models.
According to the test results, the Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra lasts for 8 hours 33 minutes, while the Galaxy S25 11 hours 21 minutes, Galaxy S25 Ultra 13 hours 2 minutes and Galaxy S25+ 13 hours 17 hours.
In general, the Galaxy S25 series provides a longer battery time than the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Especially 2 hours and 48 minutes between the Galaxy S25 and the S24 ultra are long enough to easily watch a few parts of a digital array.

The most remarkable side of the test is that the Galaxy S25+ will last 15 minutes longer than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This difference occurs, although the battery capacity is slightly lower. Of course, although this attracts attention, it is not abnormal. Because the main reason the S25+ is based is that the screen is smaller. This means that less energy is consumed.
