An anonymous Ethereum whale transferred $124 million in ETH.
According to Whale Alert’s data, the whale sent 97,273 ETH worth $124.69 million to a different address.
Ethereum Whale Moves Tens of Thousands of ETH
According to Whale Alert, $124 million in ETH has been transferred from an anonymous crypto wallet to another anonymous wallet. The funds were transferred to another address, possibly for security purposes, as they were not transferred to an exchange wallet.
Recently, Whale Alert detected two important whale processes:
- 75,999 ETH worth $101.2 million transferred from one anonymous wallet to another anonymous wallet.
- 50,000 ETH worth $66.5 million transferred from cryptocurrency exchange FTX wallet to an anonymous wallet.
According to Santiment, whales tend to hoard more ETH:
“Since 9/11, whale addresses holding a million or more ETH have collectively added another 3.5 million tokens. This allowed their assets to increase by another 14%. Currently, there are 132 such addresses.”
Santiment found that there were various exits from wallets holding 100,000 to one million ETH:
“Whale addresses holding 100,000 to 1 million ETH have dropped 3.3 million ETH over the past five weeks. That equates to about $4.2 billion.”
