Every cryptocurrency miner’s heart is to push the graphics card all the way and achieve the best possible mining level. As a result, cyber attackers also shoot users from this sensitive point.
GeForce unlock software virus
Recently, a developer named Sergey announced that he has developed software called Nvidia RTX LHR v2 Unlocker and removed the mining restriction on GeForce RTX 3000 graphics cards.
Software that removes restrictions on BIOS requires special drivers raised a question mark and mobilized skeptical users. Unfortunately, the patch itself contains virus software.
Some members of the cryptocurrency community tested the patch but found it to contain viruses. It also doesn’t remove all restrictions as promised. In fact, it does not remove it at all and starts scanning system files, causing high CPU usage. It then infects the system with malicious software. The fact that the patch will be published tomorrow has prevented a major crisis.
