Ethereum (ETH) whales gravitate towards five altcoins as the crypto market rallies.
According to data from WhaleStats, FTX Token (FTT) has been one of the biggest targets of the top 100 richest ETH accounts over the past week.
FTT, the native token of crypto exchange FTX, has seen more than $5.1 million in entries.
The average Ethereum purchases of the top 100 Eth wallets were also more than $13.8 million.
Another altcoin that whales are turning to is the decentralized oracle network Chainlink (LINK). On average, whales bought more than $370,000 of LINK.
Shiba Inu (SHIB), called Dogecoin killer, was also among the most popular cryptocurrencies. The 100 largest Ethereum addresses bought SHIB for an average of $256,691.
Another favorite altcoin is SAND, the native token of blockchain-based gaming ecosystem The Sandbox. Whales have purchased an average of $207,583 SAND over the past seven days.
Whales also bought a lot of Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), a token that is pegged to the Bitcoin price. The top 100 eth addresses bought WBTC for an average of more than $4.65 million last week.
