Ethereum (ETH), the second largest cryptocurrency, managed to surpass Bitcoin (BTC) with a total transaction volume of 408.5 million. However, the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin did not lose its leadership and popularity in search volume.
According to data shared on Reddit, Ethereum’s wind blew in last year’s transaction volumes. ETH with 408.5 million transactions was followed by BTC with 93.1 million transactions.
As the chart shows, among millions of transactions, Bitcoin hasn’t made much progress. However, the leading cryptocurrency became the most talked about crypto in 2022.
Finally, in the daily transaction amount on the networks, ETH was around 1.1 million. On the BTC side, 255 thousand transactions were carried out daily.
