Ethereum Foundation announces Shapella network upgrade
The Ethereum Foundation announced that the Shapella network upgrade on the Goerli network was enabled on Epoch 162304. The upgrade was scheduled for March 14 at 22:25:36 UTC. This announcement was made on March 8, 2023, via the official blog of the Ethereum Foundation. The Shapella upgrade will be the last previous test-net upgrade on the Ethereum main-net.

Aave is on its way to BUSD delisting
Decentralized lending protocol Aave came close to delisting troubled stablecoin BUSD on Thursday after a roadmap to implementing the plan removed a procedural hurdle. According to its author, Marc Zeller, members of Aave’s decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) voted overwhelmingly in favor of a proposal that significantly increases the cost of borrowing BUSD while reducing revenue for lenders. These actions are aimed at deterring the use of BUSD.

Coinbase de-lists PAX, AIOZ, GNO, and DREP

Terra Classic USD (USTC) suddenly jumped 12%
The stablecoin Terra Classic USD, alias USTC, is up 12% since the start of the trading session amid the announcement that major cryptocurrency exchange Binance has added a trading pair with USDT.
