What is planned for Epic Games Store players in 2022?

First off, we’re excited to confirm that the weekly Free Games will continue in 2022.

Epic Achievements were the first step in bringing live player profiles to the store. Profiles give players a single place to view all their achievements, browse playtimes for games in their library, and much more.

We have received a lot of feedback from players regarding Library and Download management and we will actively deal with it next year. Topics we’ll be interested in include prioritizing and sorting selected games for download, more options to help you filter and organize your library, the ability to see more games in the library view, and the ability to see your library outside of the launcher.

And much more:

  • Improvements on social features such as voice communication on the platform with game-independent groups
  • Community features to start with Ratings and Polls set by users
  • Game Networks to get the latest updates and news from the developers about the games you own or follow
  • Expansion of the list of countries where the Epic Wallet feature is available
  • Continuing improvements to launcher speed and performance
