Nokia, which continues to appeal to its users with its new models today, has recently announced that it has launched an environmentally friendly campaign. The name of the campaign is “Let’s sew together”.
Nokia plants trees for users who buy its new phone
HMD Global, which acquired Nokia in the past years, is known for its various environmentally friendly moves in the industry. As it will be remembered, the company used a 100 percent recyclable case in the Nokia X10 model it had previously released.
Now, within the scope of the cooperation between HMD Global and Ecologi formation, trees will be planted in designated regions in Mozambique or Madagascar for users who buy many G and X series smartphones, especially the XR20, which Nokia has launched in the past months. In addition, it should be noted that the Nokia T20 tablet is also included in this campaign.

The amount of trees to be planted will be determined by the number of devices sold. For example, 10 trees will be planted for each Nokia G50 model sold, and 20 trees will be planted for the X10, X20 and T20. For the XR20, one of the company’s newest models, 50 trees will be brought back to nature.
Let’s say that the campaign in question will be valid for the European market and is limited to 35 thousand trees. At this point, if the interest in the campaign is high, signals were given that new initiatives like this could be launched in the future.
