British football club Oxford City has announced that Bitcoin (BTC) will be accepted for match ticket payments.
One of England’s oldest football teams, Oxford City match tickets will allow purchases of food and drink with Bitcoin. Details of this initiative will be revealed at the end of the multi-year deal with CoinCorner cryptocurrency exchange.

Bitcoin May Normalize in English Football
Oxford City has joined forces with CoinCorner to pay for match tickets as well as for food and beverage purchases to be paid in Bitcoin, the primary cryptocurrency. The intended goal is expected to be achieved in the match against Eastbourne Borough this Friday at the club’s home court, Court Place Farm.
