Emin Gün Sirer, the founder of Ava Labs, received 3 million dollars compensation from a person who introduced himself as a member of a terrorist organization.
Emre Aksoy, known as a crypto phenomenon, introduced Sirer as a terrorist organization member in his YouTube video published in 2021. After Aksoy’s video, there were short-term decreases in AVAX, developed by Ava Labs.
Stating that Aksoy slandered and suffered a reputational damage due to this slander, Sirer filed a lawsuit against Aksoy. Ava Labs CEO received $3 million in damages from the lawsuit.

Emin Gün Sirer, the founder of Ava Labs and the name behind Avalanche, won compensation for the slander of a member of a terrorist organization. Sirer received $3 million as a result of this lawsuit.
Emre Aksoy, who has become a phenomenon in the crypto industry, said in a video he published on YouTube that Sirer is a member of FETÖ. Acting on this video published in 2021, Sirer left the court by winning compensation.
In the lawsuit, it was stated that Aksoy received a salary to promote a rival product of Ava Labs. According to Laws360, on April 28, district judge Beth Bloom stated that Sirer was right.
